The Korea Football Association (KFA) revised some of its regulations to revise various provisions including the management of the presidential election. Some of the amendments were related to the procedure for appointing a national team coach.

Currently, it is required to have at least five players, but it will increase by one every year from 2026 to 2030, requiring at least 10 annual contract players after five years. The Korea Football Association announced the election schedule for the next president at its board meeting on the day.
